Endowment Fund
An endowment fund was created in the spring of 2001 with the purpose of providing a permanent source of funds to be used primarily for yearly
scholarships for members who could not otherwise afford the yearly tuition to participate in the orchestra.
Contributors are welcome to donate at the following levels:
$1-$30 Solo$31-$49 Duet$50-$99 Ensemble$100-$499 Orchestra$500-$999 Conductor$1000 + ComposerAll donations to the endowment fund are tax deductible by law #36-3461006.
If you are interested in donating to the Orchestra Endowment Fund or would like additional information on the yearly scholarship available to orchestra members, please contact the project director, Chris Gillette at 402-444-6536, ext. 221.
An Annual "Stars Come Out" benefit concert is held each season during the fall utilizing a large contingent of local musicians that volunteer their time and talents; the location of this event varies from year to year.
Tickets in advance or at the door:
$10 general admission
$8 seniors (55 & over)
$5 students (elementary-college)
No charge for IGO members
